Frank Whiting
has lived in the Portland area since 1969.
He is a graduate of Portland State University and has been in the insurance business since 1979, opening the Joe Morten & Son office in 1994.
He and his wife Janice enjoy family activities and gardening.
Frank is a sports and fitness enthusiast.
He appreciates how vitally important trucking is to our country and is proud to be a part of Great West Casualty Company's and Joe Morten's contributions of safety, security and quality to the industry.

Mike Kerr
has been an insurance agent since 1992 with most of this time devoted to insuring truckers.
He has represented Great West Casualty Company since 1995.
Mike is working toward his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, and the GW Specialist in Transportation and Risk (STAR) program.
He is married with three children.
Mike welcomes your calls or e-mails, even if you are just considering becoming a customer.

Sharon Nelson
and her husband, Paul, live near the Joe Morten office on a 40 acre farm.
They raise livestock including registered horses.
They have 3 children.
Both were previously truckers (Paul 25 years, Sharon 6 years), and Sharon worked in the offices of two trucking companies before she entered the truck insurance industry in 1985.
She is a licensed agent and has earned her CISR designation, recognizing her as a customer service professional.
She thrives on helping truckers with insurance matters.

Linda Simmons
- has over 28 years of experience in the insurance industry.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources from Linfield College.
She also holds and maintains several insurance industry designations.
She is currently the Office Manager for JMS-OR.
Linda lives in Keizer with her husband Walt, who is a middle school math & science teacher and coach.
She has 2 grown daughters and 3 grandchildren.
She is an avid sports fan and enjoys attending football, baseball and softball games.

Customer Service Representative

Michelle Rose
- has been a Customer Service Representative with Joe Morten and Son for the past five years.
She attended Mesa State College with a focus in Business Administration.
She has an extensive career in underwriting, and obtained her Property & Casualty Insurance license in 1999.
Her insurance experience includes working with small business and local agricultural exposures.
She is certified through the federal government in respects to crop, hail, and fire insurance.
Michelle has received her designation as a Specialist of Transportation and Risk and is currently working on her Certified Property and Casualty Underwriting designation.
She has served on various Great West advisory groups including customer service, CSR Training, and technology advancements.
