Rob Rimmele
- Rob began his insurance career in 1989, and has specialized in fleet insurance since 1993.
He has been with Joe Morten & Son, Inc. since June of 2001.
He came to JMS as a fleet sales representative and now serves as
Vice President. He works closely with many members of the National Tank Truck Carriers Association, is a Board Member of the Illinois Trucking Association and a member of the Midwest Truckers Association.
In addition he participates in many other State associations dedicated to trucking.
He is currently pursuing his C.R.M. designation through the National Alliance.
He is a graduate of Valparaiso University and received a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing.
He is a native Chicagoan, currently residing in Western Springs, IL with his wife, Erin, and their twin daughters, Emma and Rachel.
Rob enjoys golf, motorcycles, baseball, Michigan vacations and time with family and friends.

Steve Almieri
- has been involved in the truck insurance industry since 1997 and has been with Joe Morten & Son since 2000.
He started his career with Joe Morten & Son in California, managing the agency there before locating to the Willowbrook office in January of 2004.
Steve is a graduate of Vanguard University, where he earned a degree in Psychology and Business.
He came into the insurance industry from a management career in manufacturing & consumer products.
This background provides Steve with unique insights into the role risk plays in the costs and profitability of a transportation company.
Steve enjoys coming along side of his clients and assisting them in cost/profitability analysis and continuous improvement programs.
He is currently pursuing his Certified Risk Manager designation and is involved on the advisory boards with numerous trucking organizations in Illinois.
He and his wife and two teenage children live in Plainfield.
They have home schooled their children, and enjoy their recreational time together in the outdoors doing activities of the season.
Steve enjoys playing golf, and attending baseball and football games in Chicago.

Tara Phillips
- Tara is a graduate of Valencia Community College and joined the Joe Morten & Son, Inc. staff in July of 2000 after serving in the customer service industry for the previous six years in Orlando, FL.
Since coming to the company she has taken on many operational responsibilities, including handling customer service and sales for large fleet accounts, office accounts payable and receivables and is in charge of office procedural training and staff development.
Tara was promoted to Office Manager in August of 2003.
Tara's eye for detail and commitment to ensuring that customers are receiving the best possible service helped her receive the Specialist in Transportation and Risk (STR) designation and she is currently pursuing her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.
She is also very involved with the Illinois Trucking Association, as well as, the Great West Independent Agencies’ Office Manager Group.
Tara resides with her husband, Ronnie, and two daughters, Amanda and Addison, in Downers Grove where she enjoys reading, walking, and visiting family and friends in Florida.

Catherine Barg
- Cathy has been working in and around the trucking industry since 1989.
Her experience includes agency management, sales, service and computer network management.
She played an integral part in the start up of Premiere Transportation Agencies, Inc. when it went into operation in 1993, which joined the Great West Casualty family in 2000, and is now Joe Morten & Son, Inc.
Cathy enjoys working with clients to meet their individual insurance needs.
Cathy and her husband, Bill, reside in Berwyn and have two children: Carrie and Tommy.
Her hobbies include rollerblading, bowling, reading, children’s ministry and spending time with family.

Tami Moss
- Tami has been with Joe Morten & Son, Inc. for over 5 years, but has worked in the insurance industry for over 9 years.
Tami is currently a CSR II who has her S.T.A.R. (Specialist in Transport And Risk) designation and is currently pursuing her CISR designation.
She holds a Bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois.
Tami currently resides in Plainfield, IL with her husband, Rick, her oldest son, Cole and son and daughter twins, Drew and Hannah.
She has two Boston Terriers, Monty and Mia, and a cat named, Gus.
Tami enjoys spending time with her family, especially outdoors.
During family vacations they will typically be on their boat fishing.

Leslie Penavic
- After graduating from Illinois State University with a B.S. degree in Journalism and Political Science in May 1999, Leslie primarily worked in both the marketing research and promotional marketing fields.
Leslie began working for the Joe Morten & Son, Inc. agency in June 2005.
Leslie and her husband Tim currently reside in Downers Grove, IL and are expecting their first child this summer.
Her hobbies include swimming, yoga, writing poetry, and spending time with her family.
