Vice President mail
Glade Wilkes - has been with Joe Morten & Son, Inc. and Great West Casualty Company (GWCC) since 1997 and has been involved in the trucking and transportation industry for over 25 years. While with GWCC, he served as Manager, Safety Services and Vice President, Safety Services. Glade has been a Sales Producer since May, 2003 and specializes in fleet auto liability and workers’ compensation insurance and fleet Owner Operator occupational accident, physical damage and non-trucking liability coverage.

Glade is a graduate of Indiana State University with a BS in Safety Management and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He is a member of the Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and National Tank Truck Carriers Associations. He is also Past Chairman of the National Safety Council’s International Defensive Driving Committee and member of the American Society of Safety Engineers since 1982.

Glade resides with his wife Jana, in Avon, IN and has two daughters and six granddaughters. He enjoys golf, horses, cooking, Montana vacations and spending time with his family and friends.


Account Representative mail
Tom Hughes - began his insurance career in the family owned agency in 1972. Afterword he worked for three different insurance companies in various underwriting and marketing positions. He began his career at Great West in 1995 as an underwriter in the Bloomington, IN office. He joined the Joe Morten Agency in 2001. Tom is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), has his STAR designation and serves as a chair for the Indiana Truck Driving Championships.

Tom and his wife Anita, live in Bloomington, IN. They have two grown children and one granddaughter. Tom enjoys racquetball, horses and time with the family.


Account Representative/Office Manager mail
Cathy Rainey – Cathy started in the trucking insurance industry in 1994 as a Customer Service Representative. In 2001, Cathy became the Office Manager/Account Representative for JMS-Indianapolis. She handles primarily large fleet accounts, staff development and training, maintains accounts payable and receivable, and monitors the daily activities of the service team. Cathy is a member of multiple committees within the Great West organization. She received the Specialist in Transportation and Risk (STAR) designation in 2005 and received the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2008.

Cathy lives in Indianapolis with her husband Steve. They have three children (Danielle, Jessica and John) and 1 grandson (Charlie). She enjoys reading, watching and attending NASCAR events and spending time with her family and friends.


Customer Service Representative mail
Wanda Lumpkin - Began her insurance career in 1976. She started out in personal lines rating and was shortly promoted to Supervisor. She also has experience in commercial rating, and underwriting. She primarily works with the Independent Contractors accounts. Wanda has been a Licensed Property and Casualty Agent for 11 years. She joined JMS in November 2003, and has completed the STAR designation in 2008.

Wanda is the mother of three daughters, and grandmother of six. She enjoys spending time with family, cycle riding, and going to classic car shows.


Customer Service Representative mail
Mary Evans - Joined Great West Casualty Company in July 2007. She was originally hired as a temp in October 2006 and is now working at Joe Morten & Son as a Customer Service Representative. She obtained her Indiana property and casualty agents license 2 years ago. She primarily works with non-fleet accounts. She is working towards her Star Designation through Great West Casualty.

Mary has three children, Dareyona, Makaila and Darrell. She enjoys soccer, volleyball, dancing, reading novels and spending time with her family.
