Dave Erlandson
has been with Joe Morten & Son, Inc./Great West Casualty Company since 1980, serving both companies in a variety of roles.
With Joe Morten & Son, he is pleased to be the agency Team Leader, where he is involved with customer relationships and truck insurance production.
Dave attended the University of Minnesota and Mankato State College (now Minnesota State).
Immediately after college, he went to work with GAB Business Services.
He was there from 1969, until coming to Great West in 1980.
Dave received his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1992.
He is past president of the Siouxland Claims Association, the Siouxland Y, the South Sioux City Chamber of Commerce and has been active with the United Way of Siouxland, primarily in leadership positions connected with the allocation of funds.
Dave currently serves on the board of Awesome Harley Nights.
Dave and Bev, his wife of 36 years, have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren.
Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and family, plus a variety of outdoor activities.

Jackie Asher
- Jackie joined Joe Morten & Son in 2004 as an Account Representative.
Prior to JMS, Jackie built a business as an independent agent/financial planner.
Jackie graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
She lives with her husband Kevin, and three children, Brooks, Trey, and Makenna in Wood River.
Jackie and her family spend much of their leisure time golfing and attending baseball and basketball games.

Lonnie Mazour
- Lonnie joined Joe Morten & Son in 2006 as an Account Representative.
Prior to joining Joe Morten Lonnie worked as a career agent for Farm Bureau Financial Services.
Lonnie graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Lonnie is married to Sandy and they have two children.
He enjoys spending time with his family and his other interests include golfing, hunting, and sand volleyball.

Renee Wood
- Renee joined the Joe Morten staff in 1995.
She has completed the schooling necessary to become a licensed agent, and is currently working towards getting her CSR designation.
Renee and her husband Tim have one son, Reece, and live in Greeley.
She enjoys spending time with her family, playing volleyball, and traveling.

April Empfield
- April joined Joe Morten & Son in November 2004 as a Customer Service Representative.
She received her agents' license in December 2004 and is currently working towards the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.
April and her husband, Adam, live in Grand Island.
She enjoys spending time with family, boating, and water skiing.

Valerie Ruzicka
- Valerie started with JM&S in October 2005.
She has obtained her agents license and will be working toward a CISR designation.
Her duties include policy change requests, policy verification, ordering MVRs, issuing certificates, and assisting customers with questions.
